This Space (not) For Rent

Hello! If you have accidentally wandered here, this is TOASTY, a safe space to relax in. In an attempt to heal the internet, I will be posting reviews of films, books, art, whatever tickles my fancy, and the reviews will be snark-free. If I watch or read something that I don't like, you won't find it here (it will be loitering around the other, usual sites), as I only want to provide an oasis of positive vibes. My apologies if you want harsh opinions.

I will also be posting chats with folks I admire from all regions of the arts; authors, artists, filmmakers, actors, even online types. This is an opportunity to hopefully discover something new and interesting about them and perhaps be inspired by their stories.

Finally, I will also be offering 'dinner and a movie' - I'll be pairing up my favourite comfort films with a vaguely suitable recipe for deliciousness - I think you will enjoy these.

My plan is to update as regularly as real life will allow with new reviews, chats, and film/recipes, so please stick around, and even consider subscribing so that you miss nothing and can add comments.

This site will not feature adverts, nor be monetized in any other way. It's just a procrastination tool for a tired fellow who wants a little more positivity ebbing from his laptop screen.
